Our passion for sailing is what inspired us to open up our business, and continues to motivate us to this day. Our love of marine vessels and our enthusiasm for refits is what fuels our drive to remain at the forefront of this industry. All our repairs are completed with meticulous detail, resulting in a product that is as good as new.
Erik Steinkey founder and owner of Nordmanner Marine Services was introduced to sailing in his early twenties while stationed in Germany with the Canadian military. He has since become an avid sailor and has been a member of several one design sailing teams. He has taken Naval Architecture courses with the Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology, has apprenticed with several shipwrights, has current certificates from the Advanced Composite Training a division of Renaissance Aeronautics Associates Inc., and continuous networking with other professionals in the field. Boat's are Erik's passion.
Ady Artzy, co-owner of Nordmanner Marine Services has over 15 years experience in the publishing industry, Canadian residential construction industry, and a recent b.a. in Human Relations. She brings a wealth of business experience, construction knowledge, and organization systems to our business. Ady is involved in marketing, promotion, scheduling, communication and billing.
