Jeneau Leaky Stanchion Boat Repairs

Over the years, with wear and tear, the fiberglass below stanchions can begin to get wet and leak.

Once fiberglass becomes wet, it must be opened up, removed, dried up and then replaced. Here is a good example in pictures of how a job like this looks like after the damaged area is removed. The core replaced and fiberglass is re-applied. The final steps are to match the gel coat and the non-skid pattern, and then the stanchion is put back.
